Re(fresh)ments | Melon lemonade

September has it's charms...
It's mixed up days and occasional sunny spells,
It's gentle invitations to light scarves
and slow evening walks through dimly lit cobbled streets.
And just as summer is about to wave it's goodbyes,
here's a little refresher,
a gentle melon lemonade and a HAPPY happy Friday!

---------------------------------------------------------------------
Ingredients:
3 fat melon slices
2 freshly squeezed Lemons
200ml ice cold water
Chop, squeeze and blend! Serve on ice filled jar.

Desperately hanging on to summer with our taste buddies…

By the teeth I say! It’s beautiful here, lets hope today is a long day… What’s it like there?

Crisp autumn air, still dry after many weeks of sun but temperatures are falling. Trees are changing colours and leaves are covering the sidewalks. Shorts give way to long pants and sweaters are emerging from closets. School uniforms fill the buses and the autumn air crackles with activity. The mountains are still bare of snow and my condo windows remain open at night. Fruit flies and spiders emigrate indoors and ads for flights to warmer climes proliferate. The pacific sparkles with memories of summer swimming and my thoughts turn to Mexico…
