On lazy days and iced coffee
There are these days...
The lazy kind!
When nothing is just enough
and quiet is just right.
When time is granted quite effortlessly in fact,
to contemplating and remembering a still green, unripe past.

When lazy days were handed over to fearless exploring,
to learning, constant absorbing.
To open new ideas and exciting barriers.
Frolicking around with bag in one hand and map on the other.
When lazy meant:
Constant, spontaneous,
aimless walking about.
Showing these eyes the world still unknown
and my busy feet endless new streets,
and my rushing soul alluring new places.
And on days like today!
When the sun shines high and bright,
and the breeze comes warm and almost too still.
Thoughts are best uncovered with Sweet strong iced coffee
and bare feet hanging high.

Ingredients:
1 shot espresso, freshly brewed
2 teaspoons condensed milk
200ml water
Ice
Vigorously shake coffee, condensed milk and water in an ice filled cocktail shaker until well blended. Serve with plenty of ice, immediately!
It's almost the weekend!
How will you best spend those wonderfully lazy days?

You may NEED this Decadent chocolate cake!
Or perhaps this Drunk apple crumble

I love iced coffee. With honey. Weekends are best spent by my imaginary pool

Poetry, food, and good photography? What’s not to like? Loved your photos here. Have you ever had Vietnamese iced coffee? It also uses condensed milk.

Hello Winn. As a child we had condensed milk with everything. Even on bread
yum! Have you ever tried that? I guess I’ll be calling it Vietnamese iced coffee from now on.
Thank you so much for dropping by and your lovely comment.

Your photography captures something very nostalgic, stylistically pure yet rustic and welcoming. One falls in love with the details such as the dried coffee on the tip of the brewer. It looks like a kiss from a bird. The whimsical and spontanesous poetry completes the feeling the viewer gets by looking at your photos.
You’re an inspiration.
Thank you. =)

No Jenny! THANK YOU! So pleased after reading that. And I’ll keep at it, the simple, wonderful, little things… that we so often don’t take notice off. I find joy in those. So glad I’ve inspired you. Thank you again!
